Drip started with two friends and two dirty cars. We wanted someone local to detail them — that's it. What we found instead was a maze: Facebook Marketplace listings with no prices, Instagram pages with great before-and-afters but no way to book, DMs that went unanswered for days, and no way to know if a "detailer" was legit until they showed up (or didn't).
The detailers weren't the problem. Some of the most talented people in this trade are out there working from their driveways, building reputations one car at a time. They just had no real storefront — no place to show their services, their prices, their work, and their reviews, and let people book them on the spot.
