Drip

Terms of Service

Last updated · June 30, 2026

Welcome to Drip. By creating an account or booking a service, you agree to these Terms. Drip is a marketplace that connects vehicle owners ("Clients") with independent mobile car detailers ("Detailers"). Drip is not the provider of detailing services.

1. Accounts

You must be 18+ and provide accurate information. You're responsible for activity under your account.

2. Fees & Payments

For Clients (Booking Fees)

A platform booking fee is added to every service booking, based on the service subtotal at the time of booking:

  • Under $50: $2.99
  • $50 – $149.99: $4.99
  • $150 – $299.99: $6.99
  • $300 – $499.99: $9.99
  • $500 – $999.99: $12.99
  • $1,000+: $17.99

This fee is non-refundable and is charged at the time of booking to keep the platform running and support detailers.

For Detailers (Platform Cut)

Drip retains a platform fee from each completed job, deducted automatically at payout. You are never charged separately — your earnings displayed in the app already reflect this deduction.

  • Founding detailers — 1% platform fee, locked in for life.
  • Standard detailers (all new signups after the founding period) — 2% platform fee.

Example: A $100 service → founding detailers receive $99.00, standard detailers receive $98.00.

Payouts

  • Earnings are automatically deposited every Friday.
  • Instant payout is available anytime for a fee of 1.5% + $1.99 (minimum $10 withdrawal, maximum 5 instant payouts per day). Instant payout requires a debit card linked to your Stripe account.

Tips

Tips from clients go 100% to the detailer. No platform fee is deducted from tips. Tip withdrawals are instant and completely free — you receive the full tip amount.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

Clients may cancel free up to 24 hours before service. Late cancellations may forfeit any deposit. No-shows may be charged a fee set by the Detailer.

4. Detailer Obligations

Detailers operate as independent contractors. You're responsible for your insurance, licensing, tax reporting, equipment, water/power sourcing, and the quality of work performed.

5. Acceptable Use

Don't do anything illegal, harass other users, or attempt to circumvent in-app payments.

6. Limitation of Liability

Drip is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drip is not liable for damages arising from a Detailer's work or a Client's vehicle/property.

7. Disputes

Disputes between Clients and Detailers should first be resolved through in-app support. Drip may mediate but is not obligated to refund or compensate either party.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
